Securus at BETT Show at London Excel in January 2020

Securus are delighted to be attending the BETT Show at London Excel in January 2020 and we look forward to meeting with customers, partners and hopefully many new faces and visitors who are attending. Please make some time to come on our stand NL32 for a chat and catch up on the latest online safety monitoring solutions that we offer.

The last 12 months has again seen an increase in safeguarding concerns and trends which create even more work for Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL), as not only the number, but complexity of issues requiring their attention grows.

Trends such as ‘Chicken Shop Grooming’, the phenomenon which is County Lines and the raised awareness around both pupils and staff mental health and wellbeing are all challenging issues adding to a growing consensus that some form of professional qualification should be considered for the critically important role of the DSL.

Here at Securus we continue to partner with other likeminded safeguarding companies all with the clear intention of providing the technology and resources to ensure support for the DSL and that pupils and staff stay safe online.

Whilst we continue to innovate our monitoring software we are clear that we do not want to increase the burden on the DSL so our soon to be released ‘smart AI’ monitoring technology where the software will automatically learn the patterns and trends in schools and will provide a more efficient solution highlighting more clearly those incidents that require closer attention.

Short of time and resources?
During the show we will be holding daily talks on how an Assisted Monitoring Service is an effective way forward for schools, where the monitoring of captures is undertaken by a team of safeguarding experts and reviewed for the DSL and the school, who are then alerted to those incidents that require further investigation.

Tremendously cost effective, we see this as a proactive way of sharing the monitoring and safeguarding of pupils.

Talks will be taking place each morning and again in the afternoon on the stand.

Times will be announced in January! We will also be holding a daily PRIZE DRAW for schools to win a free 12-month online monitoring subscription.

The winners will be selected at the end of each day at the show! We look forward to seeing you at BETT on Stand NL32!
